Bride sends €60 bill to woman after she didn’t turn up at wedding reception.
Stunned Jessica Baker received the bill to cover costs for her and her husband’s food when they had to cancel at the last minute. Jessica Baker and her husband had organised that Jessica's Mother would babysit their children on the day, but at the last minute she had to cancel. The Bakers were disappointed, but didn't think about it again until they got a bill in the post .
A few weeks later a bill for $75 dollars ( €60 ) came through the post. The bill also came with a note that read: “This cost reflects the amount paid by the bride and groom for meals that were RSVP'd for, reimbursement and explanation for no show. A card, call or text would have been appreciated.”
Jessica doesn’t plan to pay the wedding guests bill.
